PANTHEON I Reveals New Censored And Uncensored Promo Pics

June 13, 2009

Norwegian black metallers PANTHEON I, who include cello player Live Julianne and current and former members of 1349, as well as members of TYRANN, SARKOM, TROLLFEST and THE ALLSEEING I, have released a selection of their latest promo photos. Given that some of the pictures leave little to the imagination, the uncensored versions appear on the band's web site at www.pantheon-i.com.

Julianne, who takes on the role of a dominatrix in the photos, commented, "We didn't realize when we shot the photos that we wouldn't actually be able to use a lot of them in the uncensored version on any of our pages on the social networking web sites. It was only when our manager pointed it out to us that we had to quickly censor a handful in order to be able to upload them onto the band's MySpace and Facebook pages, but at least on our own web site you get to see them in their original versions." The cellist went on to say, "Being the only female in a band where all four other members are male, I got to play the central role in the new photos, and it's one which is probably a little out of character from what you would expect from a cellist. Normally we are a very democratic band, where everyone gets an equal say, and we don't really make any special emphasis of the fact that one of our members is female, but this time I got to show them all who is the real boss around here!"

"Worlds I Create", the third full-length album from PANTHEON I, will be released on Candlelight Records this summer. The band's track "I'll Come Back As Fire" is featured on the soundtrack of the latest Chad Ferrin horror flick, "Someone's Knocking At The Door", which made its U.S. debut earlier this month.

Below you can see the official video for the track "Where Angels Burn" from the PANTHEON I album "The Wanderer and his Shadow".
